Prominent business-man and ex-lawmaker David Chow Kam Fai has retired as a co-chairman and non-executive director of Macau Legend Development Limited, the company announced in a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange yesterday.
The statement said that Chow “wishes to focus on his other commitments” and did not offer himself for re-election at the company’s annual general meeting on Tuesday.
The statement noted that upon his retirement, Chow “has also ceased to be a member of each of the renumeration committee and the nomination committee of the Board,” adding that “Mr Chow has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and the Company.”
A separate statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange yesterday listed Li Chu Kwan as the company’s chairman and Chow’s wife, Melinda Chan Mei Yi as chief executive officer. Chan is also a former Macau legislator.
