A construction vessel sank near the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal yesterday, initially causing up to one-hour delays to ferry services.

According to a joint statement by the Macau Customs Service and the Marine and Water Bureau, the vessel sank at about 8 a.m. yesterday, and the five-member mainland crew went overboard.

All of them were transferred to the Zhuhai border police after they had been taken to the public Conde de S. Januario Hospital Centre as a precautionary measure. One of the crew members who was slightly injured received out-patient treatment.
