A local student touched a local female student’s buttocks, saying that he could not control himself because of her attractive appearance, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Cheuk Kou Chi said at a press conference yesterday.
Cheuk said both are in their twenties and do not know each other. The suspect is surnamed Leong.
According to Cheuk, when the victim was walking across a zebra crossing outside the Macau Science Centre in Nape last Friday night, she suddenly felt someone touching her right buttock.
The victim immediately looked back and saw Leong on her right, Cheuk said, adding that she called the police at once.
Under questioning by the police, Leong admitted touching the victim’s buttocks because he found her attractive. Leong has been transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office (MP), facing a sexual harassment charge, according to Cheuk.
