The driver of a tractor truck braked hard in Pac On in Taipa yesterday morning, which caused steel reinforcement bars on the platform to move forward and damage the driver’s cab, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said in a statement yesterday.
The 58-year-old driver was not injured in the accident, which occurred at around 8 a.m. yesterday, the statement said.
The incident, which occurred in Estrada de Pac On, caused traffic jams in the area for a short period of time, the statement said.
After the incident, workers arrived at the scene and transferred the steel reinforcement bars from the tractor truck to another vehicle, according to local media reports.
