Albergue SCM to host Mid-Autumn party tomorrow

Albergue SCM said in a recent statement that it will be organising the “Celebration of the Moon – Mid-Autumn Festival 2022” party tomorrow, which will take place between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Albergue SCM is located in Calçada da Igreja de S. Lázaro.

The party, the statement noted, will feature a performance by Tuna Macaense and a Chinese calligraphy demonstration. Traditional rabbit lanterns will also be given to kids for the celebration.

Meanwhile, the statement added that the party will also coincide with the opening ceremony for “Little Rabbit Lanterns – An Exhibition by Carlos Marreiros and Friends – Part 17 – Lanterns from 2009 to 2022 | On the occasion of the Celebration of the 73rd Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China”. The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m.

According to the statement, the exhibition will showcase 28 rabbit lanterns created and designed by artists worldwide between 2009 and 2022. It will be held until October 19. The statement also said that the “Master Choi Chun Heng Chinese Calligraphy Art Charity Exhibition” will also be held in Hall D1.

Moreover, Albergue SCM has also prepared festive snack boxes, with a number tag to be distributed from 5 p.m. on the day. The statement pointed out that the tag is limited to one per person, with one tag entitled to one box. The snack boxes can be collected between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

In line with the government’s COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures, the statement pointed out that there will be no tables at the party, while participants must wear a facemask, undergo a temperature check, and present a valid and green Macau Health Code. Participants must also maintain social distancing and cooperate with crowd control measures.
