Resort operator MGM said in a recent statement that its signature event Oktoberfest Macau at MGM COTAI will return this month under the theme “CHEERS, MACAU!”.
The statement noted that the beerfest will, for the first time, take place at the MGM Theatre in MGM COTAI and utilise the latest technology as well as 4K LED screens to create synergies among entertainment, gastronomy, technology, and culture.
The statement added that this year’s “CHEERS, MACAU!” Party Night will be a rendition from the Oktoberfest Macau at MGM of the past 11 years, enhanced with new music and entertainment elements, as well as customised visual and acoustic effects.
Moreover, the event will have a line-up of known bands and musicians such as award-winning Chinese rock band Tarzan, Chinese pop stars Liu Wenjun and Fu Xinyao, as well as local bands Amulets and Gimme 5. The event will also bring back dance performances by the beer maids in Bavarian dirndls. The experience will also feature synchronised lighting effects with the venue’s LED display and remote-controlled LED wristbands
A range of gourmet German food such as pork knuckles, roasted chicken and pretzels will also be available throughout the night, making the best pairing to Löwenbräu beer, which the statement underlined is “one of only six authentic German Oktoberfest breweries”.
The Party Night will be held between October 20-30 from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. daily. Admission tickets are priced at 180 patacas per guest and include one standard drink, excluding champagne. Table reservations are priced from 250 patacas per guest.
Moreover, the statement added that afternoon sessions are available on October 22, 23, 29 and 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Afternoon admission tickets are also priced at 180 per guest, while table reservation starts from 100 patacas per guest.
The admission tickets and table reservations are available for sale at both MGM properties. More information can be found by calling 8802 2666, e-mailing oktoberfest@mgm.mo or visiting https://www.mgm.mo
