The Sports Bureau (ID) said in a statement yesterday that the Taipa Northeast Sports Centre’s pavilion and tennis court have reopened, while the online booking service has also been resumed.
The centre was previously used as a nucleic acid testing (NAT) station.
The squash court, the statement noted, is currently under maintenance and will reopen in due course. The statement added that enhanced cleaning and disinfection have been carried out at the facility in line with the Health Bureau’s (SSM) COVID-19 pandemic prevention guidelines.
Facility users, the statement said, must wear a facemask when entering the venue, undergo a temperature check, present a valid green Macau Health Code and scan the venue QR code. To avoid crowding, the number of visitors will be limited.
The bureau urged members of the public to continue their fight against COVID-19 by maintaining good personal and environmental hygiene, as well as keeping social distancing when using sports facilities.
