Taipa and Coloane Community Service Consultative Council members Lo Wa Kit and Leong Meng Ian urged the government yesterday to accept payment with debit cards in all the public car parks in the two islands.

The pair made the remarks during a meeting of the council at a community service centre run by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) in Taipa.

There are three public car parks in Taipa, three in the Seac Pai Van public housing estate in Coloane, and one next to the Lotus Flower Bridge border checkpoint in Cotai, according to the Transport Bureau’s (DSAT) website.
