Uber’s departure might be a loss for residents. However, could TaxiGo be viewed as a new choice of public transport in Macau?

Uber’s local operation is set to end tomorrow. The government has repeatedly described Uber’s local business as illegal and the police have persistently cracked down on its drivers. 

TaxiGo, a locally-based taxi-hailing mobile app, was launched on the iOS and Android platforms last Thursday.
