“Tam Tam” and “Wu Wu” were chosen as the most popular – and highly contentious – nicknames for Macau’s first-ever locally born panda cubs by residents who participated in an online vote, the grassroots New Macau Association (NMA) announced yesterday during a press conference at the group’s office.
The poll was launched by Macau Concealers, a social media outlet run by the group.
“Tam Tam” and “Wu Wu” combined means “corruption”.
