The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) announced in a statement yesterday the cancellation of Stan Lai’s play entitled “Writing in Water” due to the mainland’s ongoing COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures which do not allow the performance group to travel to Macau.
The shows, according to the statement, were originally slated for November 25-26 at the Macau Cultural Centre’s (CCM) Grand Auditorium. Refunds will be available until December 28 at CCM’s Box Office and Macao Ticketing Network counters.
The statement noted that CCM is “aware of the frustration and inconvenience” brought about by the cancellation and is working on setting a new date for the performance.
