HK man ‘jumps to his death’ at ferry terminal

A Hong Kong man in his twenties was seen jumping off the footbridge outside the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal yesterday morning and died in the afternoon from the severe injuries he sustained.

The Judiciary Police (PJ) said in a statement they received a report from the public Conde de Sao Januario Hospital Centre at 2:48 p.m. that the man had died.

According to the statement, a Macau Customs Service officer reported the incident after a local casino worker saw the man jumping off the footbridge at about 8 a.m. yesterday.
