Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes said yesterday her office expected to announce the results of a study on the feasibility of “family inns” in various districts in the city.
Senna Fernandes made the remarks while speaking to reporters in Praça do Tap Seac where she attended an event promoting the eight walking routes set up by her office. The event was organised by the Macau Retailers and Tourism Services Association.
In June 2014, the office launched a study on “family inns”, which includes a public consultation through the distribution of questionnaires. The office collected some 2,200 respondents’ opinions in the one-month process.
