The Sports Bureau (ID) said in a statement yesterday that it will implement facility and equipment maintenance during the off-season for outdoor public swimming pools.
According to the statement, the outdoor pools under the Sports Bureau such as Dr Sun Yat Sen, Taipa Central Park, Cheoc Van and Hac Sá Park have been closed since October 31 when the swimming season ended, while San Fa Yuen (aka Estoril) closed yesterday.
The pools will resume services during the annual swimming season next summer, i.e., from April 1 to November 30 for San Fa Yuen and May 1 to October 31 for Dr Sun Yat Sen, Taipa Central Park, Cheoc Van and Hac Sá Park, the statement noted.
The statement said that the bureau will also continue to improve sports facilities and relevant “Public Sports Facilities Network” services.
