Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) Hospital Vice President Edward Lai Cheuck Seen yesterday urged the government to integrate medical resources across the city’s three hospitals.
Lai made the suggestion while speaking to reporters on the private university’s campus where he attended a ceremony in which the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh granted the Centre of Excellence for Professional Medical Development run by MUST’s Faculty of Health Sciences the recognition of being an authorised skills development training centre.
The hospital, established in 2006, is the teaching arm of the Faculty of Chinese Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences of MUST.
