The latest T Galleria by DFS store opened at The Londoner Macao last Friday, according to a DFS statement on Wednesday.
Located at the Shoppes at Londoner, the statement noted that the new store features over 120 leading and emerging brands, including more than 50 beauty brands, and 36 watch and sunglass brands.
Guests at the event took a “virtual trip to London”, the statement said, and enjoyed British-themed elements of the store alongside a line-up of beauty products. There was also a British military-inspired drum and flag performance.
According to the statement, the new concept “The Beauty Collective” showcases today’s trendy and emerging brands such as Dr Barbara Sturm and Tata Harper, alongside “British beauty favourites” including Burberry, Creed and DFS’ first-ever Penhaligon’s counter.
The statement added that the Burberry Odyssey pop-up enables customers to try the latest Burberry beauty products through augmented reality (AR) at the virtual beauty studio and through live makeup demonstrations. Guests can also receive an exclusive DFS holiday set or personalised Burberry charm upon designated spending, and play interactive games to win additional gifts.
The statement also highlighted DFS’ first-ever cross-category kids’ area, which includes a range of British brands including Alexander McQueen and Papinee.
DFS Group Managing Director Johan Pretorius was quoted in the statement as saying: “With this incredible array of beauty products, we are thrilled to bring London to Macau and once again demonstrate our leadership in innovative and exciting retail.”
Las Vegas Sands Corp. Global Retail Executive Vice President David Sylvester said that “with a focus on authentic British brands and kids’ elements, the new store perfectly complements The Londoner Macao’s British-inspired ambience and offerings”, and helps realise their vision to build a family mall with luxury shopping experience and premium lifestyle components.
Those visiting the shop until the end of the year can participate in digital lucky draws for a chance to win prizes, while various activities are also available throughout December.
