Lisboeta Macau said in a statement on Tuesday that it is continuing to support the 39th Walk for a Million, with its team visiting the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News, the event’s organiser, with a 28,000 pataca donation.
The statement noted that the visit was led by Lisboeta Macau Director Connie Kong (江陽) on Tuesday to carry out a cheque presentation ceremony. The cheque, the statement said, was received by the charity fund’s president, Ho Teng Iat, and senior representative Vong Kok Seng, among others.
Lisboeta, according to the statement, has also encouraged their staff to participate in the walk and jointly contribute to civil society. In the future, the company will also continue to support public welfare activities to help society and build a “prosperous and harmonious community together”, the statement said.
