Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Alexis Tam Chon Weng said yesterday that the recent wave of criticisms targeting him was due to electioneering.
Tam made the remarks on the sidelines of a regular meeting of the Tourism Development Committee which he chaired.
The city’s next legislative elections will be held in the autumn of next year.
