THE KARL LAGERFIELD, a hotel tower at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, said in a statement yesterday that it is unveiling special Christmas and New Year’s Eve offers.
The statement noted that contemporary Portuguese restaurant Mesa (“table” in Portuguese) is offering festive lunch, dinner and brunch packages from December 23 to January 1. On December 23, Mesa’s Merriest Night will take place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., with two glasses of Mesa’s Special Gin & Tonic priced at 138 patacas, while House Spirits with Mixers is priced at 68 patacas per glass.
On December 24, there will be a Four-Course Set Lunch priced from 588 patacas per person and a Six-Course Set Dinner priced from 888 patacas per person, the statement said, which are also available from December 25-26.
On New Year’s Eve, the Six-Course Set Dinner is priced from 1,488 per person, while the statement noted that the New Year’s Eve Countdown “Unmask the Night” campaign is priced at 450 patacas per person, according to the statement. This includes one glass of house champagne and raisins for the Portuguese tradition of eating 12 raisins at the stroke of midnight, one at a time, each one representing one wish for the New Year.
On January 1, the statement noted that the Matiné “Começa com o pé direito” (“setting off on the right foot”) is priced at 788 patacas per person, while the Four-Course Set Dinner is priced from 688 per person.

Meanwhile, The Book Lounge is offering “sweet and savoury delights in the spirit of “Salon de Thé” French tea culture”, the statement said. The Christmas afternoon tea set features festive treats including Gingerbread Tree Cookies and Candied Chestnuts, available between 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily at 688 patacas for two people.
The statement added that Christmas confections starting at 68 patacas each are also offered, including the Earl Grey Tea and Mango Éclair, and Black Forest Yule Log.
