The Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) underlined in a statement last Friday that in response to enquiries by several local tertiary education institutions and members of the public about reports concerning the “Macau Asian Film Academy (澳門亞洲電影學院)” and “Asian Film Academy (亞洲電影學院)” that have been circulating on the Internet, the bureau stressed that the two entities aren’t local higher education institutions recognised by the local government, and neither of them is authorised to run higher education courses in Macau.
In order to keep the public updated about local higher education institutions recognised by the government, the bureau publishes an official list of local tertiary education institutions and updates relevant information through its official website: https://portal.dsedj.gov.mo/webdsejspace/internet/Inter_main_page.jsp?id=80123.

The statement stressed that any institution engaging in higher education activities in Macau without legal permission is illegal and therefore will face the legal consequences.
