The Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) said in a statement last week that thanks to liaison and cooperation between the governments of Hong Kong and Macau, the ferry route between Taipa Ferry Terminal in Pac On and Hong Kong International Airport’s SkyPier will resume on Friday, providing cross-boundary transport services to the public using Hong Kong’s airport.
The route will provide a daily round-trip ferry service on Fridays and Sundays, according to the statement, which added that the ferry will leave Taipa at 9:45 a.m. and return from Hong Kong Airport at 2:30 p.m.
The statement underlined that the bureau has coordinated with ferry operators to complete a raft of preparatory work, such as voyage and berthing trials, and inspection of terminal facilities. The bureau has also requested the ferry companies and an outsourced cleaning company to step up the cleaning and disinfection of public facilities and vessels at the local terminals, the statement noted.
Schedules can be obtained from TurboJET, a ferry company based in Hong Kong.
