The Social Security Fund (FSS) said in a statement yesterday that the payment deadline for long-term employees’s fees for the fourth quarter of 2022, the employment fee for non-resident workers (NRWs) and casual employees’ fees for December 2022 and discretionary system fees for the fourth quarter of 2022 have been extended to February 28.
According to the statement, the extension of the deadline is due to the latest development of the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Macau.
The statement noted that FSS will also waive the related payment interest and fines, while the deadline for paying fees that are currently within the interest period has also been extended to February 28.
The Social Security Fund, the statement added, also urges employers and beneficiaries of the discretionary system to use electronic payment channels. Those who want to visit a service point in person are recommended to make an appointment through Macao One Account or log onto to https://booking.gov.mo/uniqweb/.
