Macau’s number of visitor arrivals last month fell 5 percent year-on-year to 2.88 million, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) has announced.
While the number of visitor arrivals by sea and land fell 11.7 percent and 2.7 percent respectively, the number by air was up 15 percent.
According figures released by the Macau International Airport Company (CAM) last week, the airport recorded a passenger movement of “over” 630,000 last month, up 10 percent year-on-year, the highest on record since it opened in November 1995.
