Lisboeta Macau said in a statement yesterday that it is organising several festive activities for the Chinese New Year (CNY) to welcome the Year of the Golden Rabbit.
In the “Fortune Comes To You” Lucky Draw, the statement noted that guests presenting a receipt with spending of 680 patacas or more and a Lisboeta membership can participate in the lucky draw. There are up to 2,000 prizes worth over 80,000 patacas, the statement said.
The statement added that its Golden Rabbit has hidden carrots under the Golden tree in Old Macau Street, which guests can pull out for prizes.
Moreover, the H853 factory has collaborated with the Creative Industries Promotion Association to invite six local illustrators to create traditional couplets with non-fungible tokens (NFT), according to the statement. Those who spend 680 patacas or above at the property through January 29 can get a set of complimentary traditional couplets and one NFT couplet.
The statement added that guests can also write their wishes for the coming year on Fai Chun, i.e., traditional Chinese couplets. Guests can participate by presenting their Lisboeta Hotel room card holder or receipts with a total of 380 patacas or above from H853 Fun Factory’s stores. The workshop will take place at the fun factory’s shop R79 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
From this Sunday (Chinese New Year’s Day) through next Tuesday, the property will also present a Chinese Opera and Canto Pop Show from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in its Old Macau Street.
Meanwhile, the Lunar New Year Fair is being held until tomorrow in the same area from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is done in conjunction with Everyone Stray Dogs Macau Volunteer Group, according to the statement. Booths will sell artistic and handcrafted products, while guests are welcome to take along their “furry friends”.
Visitors can also greet the God of Fortune, the statement said, from this Sunday through next Tuesday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Meanwhile, the statement noted that Royal Palace restaurant has prepared a selection of Cantonese cuisine and the “must-eat” CNY dish “Lo Hei” (the tossing of raw fish salad). The “Fortune and Prosperous Poon Choi” is also available throughout CNY.
