Ruins of St. Paul’s in the Seasons #1

Mid-spring

(The second month of the lunar calendar, during which animals and insects wake up from dormancy…)

Photo taken by YiiMa on March 22, 2020 (the 29th day of the second month of the lunar calendar)

On this day, the two members of YiiMa wore thick robes, straw hats and old anti-epidemic masks, holding wooden sticks.

This day, Macau was on high alert against epidemic prevention, with literally no visitors along the staircase at the Ruins of St. Paul’s.

Description:

The first phase of epidemic prevention in Macau started on January 1, with corresponding measures adopted. There was one confirmed case of COVID-19 on January 22, 2020 and 10 on February 4, followed by 40 days with no new cases. The second phase started on March 15, and since March 18, non-resident visitors had been banned from entering Macau, except those from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and those granted exemptions.
