The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) said in a statement on Saturday that over 10,000 applications for documents and certificates were filed through service counters or electronic channels in the first week since extending its service hours last Tuesday.

The bureau extended its service hours to 9 p.m. and is also open during the weekends to accept applications until March 31, the statement noted.

Appointments, according to the statement, can still be made to file applications at China Plaza, with the closest available appointment dates for filing applications at the Government Services Centre in Areia Preta and the Government Services Centre in Taipa being February 26 and February 23 respectively.

The statement said that residents can make appointments for counter services in the extended period through the “Macao One Account” or at www.dsi.gov.mo.  There will be no on-site ticketing, but documents can be collected without appointments during that time.

The bureau is urging those eligible to use the “Macao One Account” or self-service kiosks to file applications.

For enquiries, call 2837 0777 or 2837 0888, or email info@dsi.gov.mo.
