The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that it will present a multimedia family show titled Invisibles at the Macau Cultural Centre’s (CCM) small auditorium, with three shows slated for April 7-9.

According to the statement, the show is a production by the Shanghai Children’s Art Theatre in collaboration with the Spanish company Voilá Producciones, and follows the success of To the Moon, another children’s play by the same company that was staged at CCM a few years ago.

The statement noted that the show tells the story of a little girl named Mia, who is frightened of various things and creates an imaginary friend named Frida to help her face her fears. As she grows up, she gradually forgets about Frida, but Mia doesn’t know how to deal with her problems and decides to become invisible, until someone else’s imaginary friend appears.

It will be presented in Putonghua with Chinese and English subtitles, with tickets available from Sunday at CCM’s box office and the Macau Ticketing Network to various discounts.

More details can be found at www.ccm.gov.mo or by calling 2840 0555.
