MGM announced its exclusive long-term partnership with international luxury media brand Robb Report, the gaming resort operator said in a statement yesterday.
The statement noted that through the partnership, the brand’s latest addition to its international network, Robb Report Hong Kong, will work exclusively with MGM MACAU & MGM COTAI to conduct local renditions of signature events for RR1 members, which the statement said is a private and exclusive club for “high-net-worth individuals” worldwide.
According to the statement, RR1 offers “unparalleled access and a true community of like-minded tastemakers to partake in one-of-a-kind experiences”. These include first-look previews to personalised interactions with luxury brands, and exclusive access to Robb Report’s signature events.
The first signature RR1 event “Culinary Masters”, which is slated for this summer, will kick-start the partnership and celebrate Macau’s recognition as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. The statement added that the event will feature a line-up of “the food world’s Michelin-starred luminaries” for a weekend of dining experiences, wine pairings, culinary classes, among others.
MGM China Holdings Limited’s Co-chairperson and Executive Director Pansy Ho Chiu-king was quoted in the statement as saying: “We will be working in close collaboration with Robb Report Hong Kong to deliver unparalleled international events and delicacies, showcasing the rich and diverse tourism experience of Macau”.
Meanwhile, Robb Report Hong Kong Publisher Tak Man was also quoted in the statement as saying “This partnership with MGM will add a new level of unique programming to our offering, and more branded experiences for the Asian market will be unveiled very soon.”
Robb Report President Luke Bahrenburg added in the statement that “we are thrilled to bring the best of Robb Report and our RR1 signature experiences to Macau,” and that they’ve “found a perfect partner in MGM, who shares our mission to deliver world-class experiences to discerning audiences.”
