The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement on Friday that it will transfer data originally stored in the “Macao eBooks” app to its “Research and Publications” subpage on its website.
The subpage can be found by visiting www.icm.gov.mo/academics.
The statement noted that over 300 digital books and journals are available to be read online without downloading the Macao eBooks app, which will be suspended from April.
Meanwhile, those who want to purchase the physical versions of the books can visit the bureau’s online bookshop at www.icm.gov.mo/bookshop.
Macau-based readers can pick up their orders from the bureau’s 13 public libraries throughout Macau, Taipa and Coloane, according to the statement. Overseas readers can get their orders through the Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau’s Express Mail Service (EMS).
Enquiries can be made by calling 8399 6220 during office hours or emailing publications@icm.gov.mo
