The Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM) said in a statement yesterday that its Open Day is slated to be held online and offline this Sunday, with the main venue being on its Taipa Campus’s Forward Building.

Held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the statement noted that the one-day event is aimed at Macau residents, particularly graduating secondary school students, to enable them to learn more about the higher education institution and its programmes through various activities.

The Open Day visitors will be guided around campus by student ambassadors. The statement said that a number of programme and admission information stations will be set up to provide programme information for secondary school graduates and provide on-the-spot-registration.

The event will also feature a seminar, programme-sharing sessions, lucky draws, themed workshops, an outdoor café and a mini-concert, among others, the statement noted. The statement added that during the event, the Taipa Campus’s East Asia Hall and Jubilee Building, as well as the Mong-Há campus, will also be open to the Open Day participants.

The statement noted that a shuttle bus service will be arranged on the day, with two routes. Route One’s bus will depart every half hour from 1:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. from Block 15 of Nova City, opposite Taipa Central Park, to the Taipa Campus. Route Two’s bus will depart every half hour from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Mong-Há campus (bus stop below Mong-Há Hill).
