According to a statement by the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS), the banquet was hosted by the Belgian Association for the Promotion of the Peaceful Reunification of China. In a speech at the banquet, Ho highlighted Macau’s “1+4” development strategy and the investment potential of the Guangdong-Macau In-depth Cooperation Zone. During his stay in the Belgian capital, where he arrived on Monday night after visiting Luxembourg for talks with the grand duchy’s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, Ho is slated to meet with Belgian and EU officials. In Luxembourg on Monday, Ho and his entourage visited the country’s stock exchange which specialises primarily in the listing of international bonds and “green” bonds.
