Five mainland visitors were caught cycling on the Macau-Taipa Sai Van Bridge motorcycle lane yesterday, two of whom were fined by the Public Security Police (PSP), according to a PSP statement yesterday.
According to the police, the five mainland visitors comprise two mainland women aged 35 and 60 and three boys aged six to nine, who were found cycling along the motorcycle lane of the Sai Van Bridge.
The police noticed the situation on the citywide traffic surveillance system at around 1 p.m. and intercepted them on the bridge, after which the quintet were “severely reprimanded”.
According to the statement, the two mainland women when being handed the fine were given strict instructions to obey Macau’s laws and traffic signs.
