Int'l Advertising Association (IAA) launches Macau chapter

The International Advertising Association’s (IAA) Macau Chapter was established on Friday, marking a milestone in IAA’s expansion into the Asia-Pacific market, IAA Global President and Chairman Sasan Saeidi told the local event by video link.

Saeidi made the remarks at an inauguration ceremony held at the Artyzen Grand Lapa on Friday, with Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, other government officials and representatives from the advertising sector in attendance.

IAA Macao President Rebecca Choi (蔡美寶) said the new chapter aims to provide a platform for advertising professionals in Macau to network, learn and share experiences with industry professionals around the world, as well as provide members with the latest information on marketing tools and strategies, global marketing and advertising industry developments.

Choi also underlined that IAA has extensive expertise in helping brands grow globally by building close relationships with consumers.

Founded in 1938, IAA aims to be a platform for brand and marketer networking and global industry transformation through training, developing talent and holding world-class events, which has expanded to 34 chapters covering 56 different countries and regions, with partners including international companies such as Google, Amazon, CNN, the BBC and the United Nations.
