SJM Resorts is offering two gift sets in celebration of the Tuen Ng (Dragon Boat) Festival, which are “Three Flavours of Asia Rice Dumpling Eco-friendly Gift Set” and “Limited-edition Palace Garden Rice Dumpling Box Set”, according to a recent statement from the gaming resort operator.
The gift sets offer different flavours of rice dumplings, while their gift box and reusable gift bag are both beautifully designed and practical for gift giving and personal use, according to the statement.
Priced at 338 patacas per box, the “Three Flavours of Asia Rice Dumpling Eco-friendly Gift Set” features three types of specially crafted rice dumplings, which the statement said comprises the Conpoy* Rice Dumpling filled “with rich, premium ingredients”; the Nutritious Mushroom Rice Dumpling that has a “variety of healthy mushrooms” and is a “must for vegetarians”; and the soft and sweet Red Bean Paste rice dumpling. The gift set features a light yet durable emerald green gift bag.
Meanwhile, the statement added that for the “Limited-edition Palace Garden Rice Dumpling Box Set”, priced at 1,288 patacas per box, Grand Lisboa Palace’s (GLP) Cantonese restaurant Palace Garden will present rice dumplings prepared with carefully selected high-quality ingredients such as South African abalone, fish maw and Japanese sun-dried scallops. Each box, the statement said, features the restaurant’s “Homemade X.O. Sauce” flavoured with shrimp essence, and a fragrant lychee black tea to pair with the giant rice dumpling.
The statement said that its octagonal gift box is inspired by the 35-metre-long Suzhou silk embroidery on Palace Garden’s main dining room wall, and features an elegant green leather hue, as well as lined with a gold chrysanthemum pattern. It can also be re-used as a tea tray.
A 10-15 percent discount is available for early bird purchases before May 31. A delivery service for Cotai and the peninsula is available when ordering 50 or more sets.

*Conpoy or dried scallop is a type of Cantonese dried seafood product that is made from the adductor muscle of scallops. The smell of conpoy is marine, pungent, and reminiscent of certain salt-cured meats.
