MGM Macau is axing its Oktoberfest that was slated to run until Sunday because of Typhoon Haima.
MGM Macau announced on its social media page that “all activities of Oktoberfest Macau at MGM, which were scheduled until October 23, are cancelled from today [yesterday] onwards due to the approaching Typhoon Haima.”
A spokesperson for the gaming operator told The Macau Post Daily yesterday that for public safety, the Oktoberfest tent and electric installations had to be dismantled before the typhoon arrives.
