The children’s bumper car track at the Kun Iam Statue Waterfront Park Leisure Area will be closed from today through June 16 due to “floor optimisation”, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) said in a statement on Friday.
The track first opened to members of the public in late March, with the statement noting that it has been well-received.
After frequent use, the statement said, the track is showing signs of “wear and tear” of varying degrees, with floor optimisation being done to ensure safety and to provide a better bumping environment
The statement urged members of the public not to enter the area during the period to avoid accidents. For enquiries, call the Civic Service Hotline on 2833 7676.
