Macau recorded a total of just 201 COVID-19 infections in four days from Thursday to Sunday, according to the latest data released by the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre.
According to the latest data, 73 COVID-19 infections were recorded on Thursday, 74 on Friday, 26 on Saturday, and 28 on Sunday.
Macau also recorded 73 COVID-19 infections on Wednesday.
No new COVID-19 patients were admitted to treatment facilities on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, while a COVID-19 patient was admitted to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre on Sunday for treatment.
Consequently, a total of 210 new COVID-19 patients were admitted to treatment facilities between May 1 and July 9.
Serious COVID-19 case: 60-year-old man with 4 jabs
Moreover, a serious COVID-19 case was reported on Saturday, a 60-year-old man suffering from underlying diseases, the centre announced on Sunday.
The man has received four COVID-19 jabs. The centre did not say which types of COVID-19 vaccines he received.
Macau has not recorded any COVID-19 fatalities for 21 consecutive days, from June 19 to July 9, after the latest COVID-19 fatality was recorded on June 18.
Macau’s official COVID-19 death toll currently stands at 124.
