Four former croupiers, backed by the New Macau Gaming Workers’ Rights Union, told the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) yesterday that they had been “unreasonably” fired by their company.
The union also handed in a petition addressed to DSAL Director Wong Chi Hong at the bureau in Areia Preta yesterday. A DSAL official received the petition on Wong’s behalf.
Three of the ex-dealers, who worked at Casino Kam Pek Paradise, told reporters that they were “falsely” accused of violating the company’s regulations and were dismissed after receiving “a few” warning letters.
