All summer classes axed: DSEDJ

The Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) announced in a statement yesterday that all summer classes in the 2022 Summer Activities programme have been cancelled owing to the pandemic situation in Macau and in order to cooperate with the government’s pandemic prevention and control work.

The statement noted that the 2022 Summer Activities were prepared by the DSEDJ and the Sports Bureau (ID). Participants will be notified via SMS regarding refunds, with the DSEDJ asking them to understand that the refund procedures may take time.

DSEDJ public services suspended through Friday

Meanwhile, in a separate statement yesterday, the DSEDJ said that its headquarters in Avenida de D. João IV will suspend its public services through Friday in line with the government’s pandemic control and prevention work, and in order to reduce the transmission risks of COVID-19.

Enquiries can be made by calling 2855 5533 during office hours, which are Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. On Friday, the bureau is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Moreover, the statement said that the bureau can be emailed at webmaster@dsedj.gov.mo, while the bureau’s website can be visited at www.dsedj.gov.mo.
