A one-day show of the 3rd China International Circus Festival will be held at Macau Forum in Zape on Saturday, Ip Peng Kin, chief-of-cabinet of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture, announced last week.
According to Ip, 3,000 free tickets have been reserved for pupils, students and the elderly, while 1,000 will be given to residents, adding that each resident can get no more than two tickets. He said the tickets would be handed out on a “first-come-first-serve” basis.
Ip also said the Macau government only paid a small amount and provided the venue free of charge, adding that the Zhuhai government would pay most of the expenses, including the performers’ travelling and accommodation expenses. He did not elaborate.
