Wynn Palace is currently hosting a multisensory exhibition titled “The Contour of Light: A Re-encounter with Leonardo da Vinci”*, showcasing da Vinci’s art and science works at the integrated resort’s Art Centre.

The exhibition is hosted in support of the “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2023” and runs through October 15. Its artistic production and curation are by Art Media Studio, which is based in Italy.

According to a recent Wynn Resorts statement, the exhibition uses holograms, light and shadow projections, and virtual reality (VR), among others, to create a 360-degree holistic experience that is “not only educational and fun, but also spectacular and stimulating for local residents and visitors”.

Visitors, the statement noted, are projected into da Vinci’s extraordinary mind, offering an in-depth examination of his paintings, discoveries and inventions.

The exhibition features 10 spaces such as “The Genius of Art”, which displays da Vinci’s dynamically reproduced paintings; “Leonardo‘s World”, which lets visitors don a VR headset to explore four different VR settings; and the exhibition’s highlight, “Immersive Masterpieces”, a 360-degree experience of da Vinci’s work that uses synchronised multi-projection system, images, music, and sounds, according to the statement.

The statement added that the exhibition also highlights Macau as being rich in culture and innovation through its collaboration with local small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Wynn Macau, Limited’s President and Vice Chairman of the Board Linda Chen Chih-ling was quoted in the statement as saying that the company invites members of the public into “an artistic space created using cutting-edge exhibition technologies”.

“Visitors will embark on a multisensory journey, where light and shadow travel through history, time and space, projecting a deeper understanding of life and fate”, she added.

The exhibition is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on https://www.ticketing.wynnresortsmacau.com and at Wynn Macau Concierge at Wynn Tower or Wynn Palace Concierge at the South Atrium Lobby, both of which can be contacted on 8986 3068 or 8889 3070 respectively.

Admission prices with a variety of discounts available are displayed on the company’s ticketing website.
