Six former SJM dealers, backed by the New Macau Gaming Workers’ Rights Union, each handed a letter of complaint to the Personal Data Protection Office (GPDP) yesterday.
The sextet claim that the gaming operator posted their personal information and why they had been dismissed on information boards in 18 casinos run by the company, after having been “unreasonably” sacked.
The ex-dealers claim that the company’s action had made it difficult for them to find jobs in Macau.
