The application period for the government’s first standardised recruitment tender ended yesterday with 21,368 applicants wanting to take the civil service admission exam, according to a statement from the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP).
Around half of the applicants used an online application platform to join the recruitment drive.
The standardised recruitment tender was launched after the enactment of the Recruitment, Selection and Training of Civil Servants Law in July. The system aims to provide specific evaluations in line with the different skills and talents needed for different government entities, according to a previous SAFP statement.
