The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) will hold an outdoor parent-child art experience – ARTmusing Fun – from Friday through Sunday in the square behind the Macau Cultural Centre (CCM) in Nape as an ideal way to spend the waning of the summer holidays with free entry for members of the public to join, according to an IC statement yesterday.
The carnival, which starts at 6 p.m. each day, will include performances, cultural and creative booths, food courts, outdoor movies and games, as well as a street dance performance, stilt-walking clowns and puppetry displays, the statement said.
According to the statement, the carnival’s stimuli will spread around the square transformed into a small market, with booths serving food and selling creative products, where parents will be given plenty of opportunities to bond with their kids watching movies, going on backstage adventures, and joining yoga sessions.
The carnival will also present live performances by CCM’s Singing Club and brief skilful demonstrations by the centre’s summer workshops participants, according to the statement.
For more details, members of the public can visit CCM’s website at www.ccm.gov.mo.
