Christmas charity drive to help Syrian children

The annual charity campaign “Bringing Joy and Love to Children at Christmas” aims to benefit local children as well as those in Syria and Nepal, Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) official Wong Pou I said during a press conference yesterday at the bureau’s headquarters. 

Co-organised by IACM, Caritas Macau, Orbis and World Vision Macau Office, the campaign welcomes donations starting from tomorrow until December 11. The campaign is divided into gift-purchasing and fundraising. 

For 120 patacas, donors can purchase a gift from Caritas Macau which will be given to local children in need during Christmas through 14 organisations including the S. Jose Ka-Ho Children and Youth Home, Cradle of Hope Association and the Child Protection Centre of the Macau Against Child Abuse Association.
