Macau’s population at the end of September stood at 647,700, a drop of 4,800 quarter-to-quarter, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday.
Females accounted for 51.4 percent of the total.
A total of 1,885 live births were delivered in the third quarter, an increase of 246, or 15 percent, from the previous quarter. The sex ratio at birth stood at 113.7, corresponding to 113.7 male babies per 100 female babies.
