The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) announced yesterday that self-service kiosks for “Easy Macau Identification Services” are now available at the Government Affairs Service Centre in the Guangdong-Macau In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, providing a 24-hour self-service in the field of identification, namely, in the processing of travel documents and certificates so as to further promote the integration and development of people’s livelihoods between Hengqin and Macau.
According to a DSI statement yesterday, the kiosks cover services including applications for the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) passport, MSAR travel permit and visit permits for Macau residents to travel to and from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HSAR), as well as certificates of criminal record, kinship and personal data, facilitating the study, employment, entrepreneurship and life of Macau residents in the cooperation zone.
The statement noted that applicants can choose to pick up their travel documents and certificates at DSI service points in Macau, or the designated Macau affairs service counter at the Government Affairs Service Centre in Hengqin, operating from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays.
