The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a local man – a former employee of two casinos – on Wednesday on suspicion of having broken into staff lockers in four casinos and stealing money, worth a total of 13,000 patacas. The suspect managed to slip inside staff areas of the four casinos because he used to work in them and knew his way around, according to the Judiciary Police.

PJ spokeswoman Lei Hong Lei announced the case in a press conference yesterday.

Lei identified the suspect as a 23-year old surnamed Ngan, who was unemployed when he committed the thefts last month and this month.
