A signboard attached to Ngan Fai Building on Rua do Campo fell and hit a 42-year-old local woman who was passing by yesterday evening, according to a Fire Services Bureau (CB) statement.
The woman suffered fractures to her neck and right ankle and was rushed to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre for emergency treatment, the statement said.
The incident happened at about 9 p.m. yesterday, the statement said, adding that the size of the signboard that fell on the woman was about 2 metres by 1 metre.
