The Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) said in a statement yesterday that applications for the 2024 Macao-Guangzhou Products Fair, slated to be held from January 19-21, are now open until November 6.
The three-day fair, according to the statement, will be held at Guangzhou’s PWTC Expo and is hosted by IPIM in conjunction with the Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau. The statement noted that the event aims to offer merchandise such as souvenirs and cultural and creative products from both cities to Guangzhou locals as well as those visiting the capital of Guangdong province.
Business talks and matching sessions are set to be held to turn the event into “a platform for economic and trade exchanges between Guangzhou and Macau enterprises”, helping local enterprises tap into the mainland market, and promote economic and trade collaboration between the two cities, the statement said.
Event registration can be done on https://macaomice.ipim.gov.mo/show/detail?id=2383&types=PARTICIPATE The participation fee for local exhibitors is 1,000 patacas per booth, with priority to be given to those selling Made-in-Macau products, Macau brands, or those acting as agents of products from Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs), the statement added.

The previous three-day products fair was held in Guangzhou in late June this year and attracted large crowds, the statement noted.
